Development of the Internet, popularization of smartphones, and expanding base of social media has brought dramatic changes in the marketing environment while making shifts in media strategies. Rise of celebs that have many subscribers made brands keep an eye on their channels. Consumers tend to trust products that have been recommended by celebrities. Many brands are conducting joint marketing campaigns with celebrities for the sake of promotion of their products and the importance of such campaigns is constantly growing. For an advertiser to conduct a brand campaign, a lot of time and human resources are spent for recruitment of the celeb and management of advertising execution. MCNs that manage celebs or multiple marketing agencies have entered the market for the sake of efficiency, but their entrance resulted in an unreasonable expenditure structure with increased cost burden to the advertiser and decreased rewards for the celebs. There is a problem of lack of data on influence of a celeb on estimation of advertising fee. The criteria for rewarding a marketing campaign are currently based on the number of followers because of the lack of objective data to analyze the contribution to the campaign and effectiveness of the promotion. Problems in efficient profit sharing, lack of credible data, and verification of effectiveness of the marketing campaign are some of the problems that will be faced in the future. Celeb Plus aims at a platform that will allow for reasonable consensus on rewards and will allow for reasonable spending of advertising expenses by recording activity data on the blocks and measuring contributions of each celeb.
