Real-world ecological assets are tokenized. Perlin is working on a project called PERL.eco, which will use blockchain technologies to tokenize carbon credits and other ecological assets. PERL.eco focuses on tokenization and achieving broader adoption of ecological-related assets. PERL allows token holders to play a critical role in determining the incentive system, building a wide base of stakeholders, and facilitating economic value flow in the network. These are the key areas that PERL.eco is focusing on. Users may be able to offset their emissions and participate in the growth of carbon with the tokenizing of carbon credits. We want to create a marketplace that links supply and demand. We are working with a number of charities to develop NFTs that will fund the preservation of critically-endangered species. 5. 6.
