There is a network for borrowing and lending on solana called Parrot. It has grown to $400 million in TVL since its mainnet launch. Billions of dollars of value are locked in hundreds of DeFis, and converted into different yield generating token, such as the UniswapLP token, or the AAVE interest bearing token. There aren't many use cases for this token. The units of account that are unsuitable for human consumption are the reason why the value locked in DeFi is not accessible.
