The lending and borrowing of cryptocurrencies is possible through the Hundred Finance dApp.
Users of Hundred Finance can lend and borrow against their loan to value ratio, earning variable interest on the supply side and accruing it on the borrow side. The desired asset is sent to the user's wallet while supplied token are represented there as hTOKENS.
The interest rates on Hundred Finance are calculated automatically and expressed per token as an annual percentage yield. The rates are adjusted on a by-block basis when there is demand for a particular asset.
Changes in the market value of assets being borrowed and lent, as well as the accrual of interest, can result in the value of supplied assets no longer being adequate to cover obligations on borrowed assets. An account using Hundred Finance can be vulnerable to insolvency if the debt position falls below a certain level.
HND is a token of the Hundred Finance platform. The HND token will allow protocol decisions to be made in a distributed manner through its implementation in governance once sufficiently distributed among users.
