The token is a standard token. The token has no monetary or economic value. A pull request proposal is linked to an open pull request in the Hummingbot code repository. Improvement Proposals are linked to an issue in the Hummingbot Github repository that specifies a proposed improvement to a component of the Hummingbot codebase. A governance proposal is a proposal linked to an issue in the Hummingbot Github repository that specifies either a proposed modification to the Foundation governance system, or a distribution of HBOT token from the treasury for a community activity such as a grant. Pull requests will need to be submitted as Pull Request Proposals in order to be merged into the codebase and included in an official release. The Hummingbot Foundation Governance whitepaper has more details. The Hummingbot Foundation's Board of Directors will be made up of members who will be appointed by the token holders. The assets and resources of the Hummingbot Foundation are not held by the token holders.
